Announcements

The new pictural directories are finished. You
may pick up one free copy per family at the
Welcome Center following the service today.
There are 4 options if you would like an additional
copy:
1. An original copy will be $5.
2. Just the addresses without the pictures -
$2.50.
3. E-mail copy of full directory (pictures and
addresses) - no charge.
4. E-mail copy of addresses only - no charge
If you would like an additional copy of the
directory, please place your money in a blue
envelope and make sure to put your name and
how you would like your additional directory
(original color copy, addresses only). If you would
like to request an e-mail copy of the directory,
please fill out a yellow card and specify how you
want to receive it. Make sure to include your email
address.



Congratulations to Robert & Emily (Spetz)
McCulla on the birth of their baby girl, Adelyn
Ruth. Adelyn was born December 14th weighing
in at 6 lbs. & 12 ozs. and 21½ inches long.
Grandma Barb is especially proud.

With Christmas and New Year’s falling on a
Sunday this year, we will be worshiping on a
revised schedule. On December 25th and January
1st we will have one service at 10:30 a.m. with no
Sunday School and no Sunday Night Alive. We
will however still have our Christmas Eve Service
on December 24th at 7:00 p.m.

Tithing envelopes for the 2012 year are now
available in the Welcome Center by the ramp. If
you do not currently have tithing envelopes and
would like to receive them, please fill out a yellow
card and circle the letter “T” and place the card in
the offering plate.

Morning Worship Service

 We welcome you to Warren First Church of the Nazarene!

We trust as you worship with us you will feel the presence of the Lord.  A staffed nursery is off the Jefferson Room for your infants during all services. A Children’s Service for ages 5 through grade 4 takes place during the morning worship service. An elevator is available. Our Ushers can assist you.

Please join us for Sunday School at 10:30 a.m.
There are classes for all ages.

All are welcome to come and study God’s Word!

 Coffee and fellowship in the Welcome Center from 10:15a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

• Today’s special offering is designated for
“Compassionate Ministries”. If you would
like to contribute to this offering, please use the
blue envelope in the pew in front of you.


• CD’s of today’s service are available for $2.00
by filling out a yellow card and placing it in the
basket on the Welcome Center. Please make
sure your $2.00 is put in the offering plate in a
blue envelope marked CD’s.


• There will be no Fellowship Time in the
Jefferson Room today due to the Christmas
Holiday.


• Sunday School Classes for Children, Adults
and Teens are cancelled today due to the
Christmas Holiday.


• There will be NO Sunday Night ALIVE today
due to the Christmas Holiday.

Next Sunday our Special Offering will be for
the “Building Fund”. Last week you gave
$1,390.00 to the Building Fund and $261.00 to
Funeral Dinners.

We still need your old, unused cell
phones that are just laying around the
house or in your junk drawers? Bring
them in and place them in the box on the
Welcome Center to be recycled. All proceeds will
benefit the Teen Bible Quiz Teams.

So far $16,670. has been pledged / given
toward the $23,000 needed for the windows that
need to be replaced. That is 72% of the goal. We
only need $6,330.

You gave $3,877.00 to the Jesus Film Harvest
Partners. That means 1,292 souls will be saved!

If you are on track to read the Bible through in
2011, please let the office know by this Friday,
December 30th. Award presentations will be
made next Sunday to those who have finished
this huge accomplishment.

There will be no coffee served today or next
Sunday due to the Service time change.

The Karate Class will be meeting on
Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. in addition to Tuesday
evenings.

We thank our church family for the way you have blessed us
with your prayers, cards, phone calls, and e-mails of concern for
Shirley these past weeks. We are thankful for such a wonderful
church family.

begin meeting again on January 5, 2012.

• Breakaway Groups - We are all meeting together in the
pool room. We are studying of the book of Hebrews.


• CONNECTIONS: Will resume January 15, 2012.


• There will be NO quizzing practice this Tuesday!
Continue to study Hebrews chapters 1 - 13.



NYI Winter Retreat will be held on
January 27 - 29, 2012 at The
Woodlands in Wexford with speaker
Jay Trainer and Infuzion. The cost is
$90 if you register by Dec. 29th, $100
thereafter. Space is limited, so a non-refundable $30
deposit is due with registration. Pick up an application on
the Welcome Center.

It’s our goal to raise $100 this Christmas season
to purchase a goat through World Vision! The
goat will be given to a family / community in need
and provide milk, cheese and yogurt helping
young children grow and supplying good to be
sold as income. Anyone interested in helping the youth give a
goat can! See Pastor J. for more details or you can pick-up a
World Vision Gift Catalog at the Welcome Center.

It’s time for the After Christmas Party,
January 8th, (students, Council and their
families, college students) at the home of
Bob & Ruth (108 3rd Ave) starting at 5:30
p.m. Please bring some food to share and a
White elephant gift valued at $5-8, be creative, and
wrapped! Wear the most preposterous Christmas
attire! Ugliest sweater will win a prize!


• All Day-er Christmas Break Skate - Dec. 27th at
2 pm for teens at college students. Meet at the
church and we will head to the Jamestown Ice
Arena. We will leave the arena by 5 PM and
return to the church for pizza and a movie! Cost
is only $5 and can be given to Pastor J. anytime
before the event.
