Welcome to the First Church of the Nazarene

We have served Warren County since 1908. Our church is much more than just a place of worship. It is a place where families and individuals can come and have their needs met through various programs.

There is much that goes on here including our blended Sunday morning worship service which lifts up Christ in the spirit of corporate worship designed for all ages with both contemporary and traditional music. Children's Church and Sunday School classes for all ages is offered each Sunday morning. Sunday evening informal Bible study fellowship groups, Tuesday evening Children's and Youth time, Wednesday evening prayer groups, which meet not only at the church but in various homes throughout the county. Exercise classes, karate, basketball,  craft night, scrap booking, and many other such activities meet social needs.

As a church we feel that we need to be involved in our community. Our food pantry serves hundreds of clients each year and our community Harvest Festival gives our community's children to participate in a safe trick or treat atmosphere with fun, food, hayrides and games. Overcomer's Outreach is a christian based 12-step program for individuals who may have a problem with alcoholism, drug addiction, eating disorders, pornography, workaholism, nicotine addiction, compulsive gambling, or co-dependancy. The church also has provided video seminars free of charge to the community such as Dr. James Dobson's "Bringing Up Boys". The Nazarene youth are also involved in a number of random acts of kindness activities such as providing free pop, water bottles and pop-cicles at the 4th of July parade.

Our local church's mission statement is to

Experience God, Extend a hand, and Equip for service,
